Dr. Andrew Shyu, M.D. – Delaware Medical and Surgical Opthalmologist

Dr. Andrew Shyu (pronounced shoe) is a board-certified ophthalmologist who grew up in Saratoga, California. Patients can expect a compassionate and patient-centered approach from Dr. Shyu. He is currently operating at the Cataract and Laser Center and the Center for Advanced Surgical Arts (CASA) for patients who require anesthesia.

Andrew Shyu, M.D

Dr. Andrew Shyu is a comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmologist who specializes in small incision and laser assisted cataract surgery including advanced technology lens implants and glaucoma management. Dr. Shyu also performs refractive surgery including CustomVue Lasik and PRK and Refractive Lens Exchange.

He completed undergraduate studies at UCLA and went to medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Temple University. Dr. Shyu is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. He enjoys watching sports, and playing soccer, pickleball, and tennis. He enjoys hiking with his wife, and teaching new tricks to his pet corgi, Doug.
