Welcome to Eye Care of Delaware
The Cataract and Laser Center, LLC was established in 1997 to serve as Delaware’s first single-specialty and stand-alone ambulatory surgical center. From there, Eye Care of Delaware, LLC was formed. Today both of these entities operate from our single location in Newark, DE, with residents from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as patients.
Our patients at the Cataract and Laser Center, LLC are provided with advanced surgical treatment and the highest quality care from our devoted staff. Patient care is coordinated by our doctors with the patient’s optometrist. This ensures that patients seeking surgical intervention receive the proper care before and after surgical treatment. The Center is fully accredited by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.) and is credentialed with Medicare, Delaware Medicaid and most major health insurance carriers. The AAAHC is an independent, not-for-profit organization that’s considered to be the gold standard for measuring excellence and quality in outpatient ambulatory surgical centers. Their mark is a symbol of quality that we are proud to carry.
